Heaven's Key 2025 #001ㅣThe Promise from the Beginning, the Offspring of the Woman — Light Piercing Through Darkness.
📖 Meditation Pt. 1
"The Promise from the Beginning, the Offspring of the Woman — Light Piercing Through Darkness."
JESUS' LOVE CHURCH | PASTOR Kim, SeoKwon
The dawn of humanity was brilliant,
yet its fall began with tears.
Into the path of the garden where they walked with God,
a serpent's whisper seeped.
"Did God really say...?"
That one sentence shook the soul of humanity.
At that single phrase, people began to trust themselves more than God.
From that day on, the world was broken,
and the soul lost its light.
However, in the midst of that darkness,
God did not remain silent.
Instead of immediately judging the humanity that had sinned,
He gave a word of promise.
"The offspring of the woman will crush the serpent's head." (Genesis 3:15)
It was not a simple declaration.
It was God's first gospel for humankind.
Though people left God,
God did not leave them.
He Himself promised the way of salvation.
That promise was the prelude to the Christ.
That promise, much later in a small town,
became reality through the womb of a woman.
The angel declared:
“The virgin will conceive and give birth to a son, and they will call him Immanuel” (Matthew 1:23)
That son is the seed of the woman, Jesus Christ.
He reconnected the path broken by sin,
and shone a light upon humanity trapped in darkness.
Through His coming, a way between God and people
was made once more.
I sometimes ask myself.
Why did He so love human beings,
who were merely formed from dust?
Why did He choose suffering for Himself,
instead of judging the sinner?
The answer is one.
Love.
God's love is not a condition; it is His very being.
He saved because He loves,
and He waits because He loves.
The darkness in Genesis was never the end.
That darkness was a stage, waiting for the words, "Let there be light."
That light is Jesus Christ.
With His coming,
the darkness was pushed back, and life breathed again.
In my reality today, there is also darkness.
Despair, anxiety, wounds, guilt, and failure.
But God is still speaking.
“Let there be light,” (Genesis 1:3)
Those words are still valid.
In Jesus Christ,
that light continues to shine into the depths of my life.
The first promise is still valid today.
The seed of the woman, the Christ,
has severed the root of my sin.
Because He is within me,
I come to life again.
Because He is the Lord of my life,
the darkness cannot overcome me.
Even in the first fall of man, the gospel of God had already begun.
"The offspring of the woman" is God's promise for humanity throughout redemptive history.
Jesus Christ is the fulfillment of that promise, and even now, He comes into my life as light.
Jesus is the Christ.
